Dream On has undertaken a number of initiatives to help individuals create small businesses in both Ghana and Tanzania.
Helping Young Mothers in Ghana
Dream On has assisted many young mothers in receiving vocational training or creating small businesses so they can become self-sufficient and care for their children. From seamstresses to sundry shop owners, Dream On empowers women with the skills necessary to care for their children and break the cycle of poverty.
Providing Sustainable Income for Children in Tanzania
Dream On has collaborated with Grace Hand for Africa in Mbeya, Tanzania to create the Grace Tailoring School and Grace Poultry Business. Grace Hand for Africa provides housing and education for children who were orphaned or rescued from human trafficking. The tailoring and poultry businesses provide sustainable income for the children’s home and school and gives the older children an opportunity to learn a trade.
